The land is filled, filled with innocent blood. The judgment is no longer afar off, it is coming very soon! But you say, what innocent blood? The blood of 50 million babies cries to the Lord from the ground. American soil is soaked with the blood of our own children! Yet still you will say, God will never judge us, He has turned His back, He has forsaken the earth. But America’s judgment shall come, in one hour it shall come.
“I am the Lord God which judgeth her. The innocent blood has come up to Me, and the cries of thy children, which thou hast slaughtered, has not gone unheard. Yea, it shall bear record against you in the day of judgment, and the day of your calamity.” Oh, America, repent, for you are not perfect in the eyes of the Lord your God. Turn back to Him quickly, or your judgment will come quickly. The land is soaked with innocent blood.
But the murder of the unborn is not America’s only sin. Selfishness rules our nation, selfishness drives our culture. All of the advertisements we see and hear are about “you:” “it’s all about U”,”have it your way”,”get yours today.” We have kicked out the Creator and replaced Him with the god of humanism, ourselves. The defacto god of an American today is himself or herself. Why, we even sacrifice to ourselves. What is abortion, but sacrifice to self? What is sin, but “I’m going to do what I want to do. No one is going to tell me what is right and wrong?” From this comes all of our national sins, adultery, fornication, sodomy, drunkenness, lying, cheating, stealing. We look out for ourselves at the expense of others. We do not head the warnings telling us to repent. Why? We like what we are doing. We do not want to admit we are doing wrong.
What judgment, you say? Some new terror attack, a mini-nuke in Chicago, or perhaps downtown Ann Arbor. A truck bomb in New York, a North Korean missile strike in San Fransisco. Suspicious activity under the US Capitol in recent months suggest that it may be the next target. But I cannot say for sure, these are just examples of what could happen. But, as I wrote in a previous article, there will be thousands to tens of thousands dead. It could possibly be far worse than that. If only America would repent, and return to the God of her fathers!
But the innocent blood will not be pardoned by the Lord.
2 Kings 21:
1 Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Hephzibah.
2 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.
3 For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshiped all the host of heaven, and served them.
4 And he built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD said, In Jerusalem will I put my name.
5 And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD. 6 And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.
7 And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which the LORD said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:
8 Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.
9 But they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than did the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel.
10 And the LORD spake by his servants the prophets, saying,
11 Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which were before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols:
12 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.
13 And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipeth a dish, wiping it, and turning it upside down.
14 And I will forsake the remnant of mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;
15 Because they have done that which was evil in my sight, and have provoked me to anger, since the day their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even unto this day.
16 Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.
Manasseh was one of the the most wicked king to rule the kingdom of Judah. He built altars for the pagan gods in the temple of the Holy One of Israel (2 Kings 21:4,5,7), and sacrificed his son to Molech (21:6). He seduced the people into his wickedness such that their wickedness exceeded that of the nations their fathers had conquered (21:9).
But, worst of all, Manasseh shed innocent blood: Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another… (2 Kings 21:16). Since he had seduced the people, they willingly went along with the bloodshed, possibly participating in it themselves. Therefore, the Lord pronounced His judgment:
11 Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which were before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols:
12 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.
2 Kings 21:11,12
Several kings later, even after the reign of righteous Josiah, this pronouncement of judgment still hung over the land: 3 Surely at the commandment of the LORD came this upon Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did; 4 And also for the innocent blood that he shed: for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; which the LORD would not pardon. 2 Kings 24:3,4 The Lord WILL NOT pardon the shedding of innocent blood.
Oh, America, your judgment draweth nigh! For the innocent blood will not be purged from this land until God has exacted His judgment. National judgment is coming, this is certain. But we can still limit the degree of judgment by repenting now. Personal judgment is coming to all. Some may escape it in this life, yet all will face it in the next. We will all stand before the judgment seat of God to answer for all our sins. Therefore, you need an Advocate to plead your case. You need a Saviour to take your punishment. (For we all deserve Hell). You need the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sins of the world. Jesus Christ died to take the punishment for your sins. Why don’t you repent, accepting Him as your Lord and Saviour?
The judgment of the nation is coming; if we as a nation repent, it will lesson God’s judgment upon us. If we as individuals repent, it will lesson our personal judgment in this life, and grant us eternal happiness in the next. Click Here if you want to learn how to accept Christ as your Saviour.
